Job Description:
The Enterprise Solutions Architect - Senior strategically provides solutions for the design and implementation of in-house information systems, hardware and networked software architectures that support core organizational functions, and assure their high availability.

This position ensures organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluates and selects all technologies required to complete those plans. In addition, the Solutions Architect provides technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.
The senior-level professional is experienced in all aspect of Enterprise Solutions Architecture. Abilities encompass the full knowledge required within the architecture area. This position designs and develops approaches that are implemented by others. The person in this position functions independently with minimal oversight and direction. May instruct and guide lower level technical professionals. Provides guidance to junior members of the team.
Position is 100% remote, however, currently we are unable to consider candidates for remote opportunities in the following states: California, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Washington.

1. Designs and implements long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
2. Works to ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
3. Assists in providing architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, other Enterprise Solutions Architects, and software development teams.
4. Develops, documents, and communicates plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
5. Researches emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommends technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
6. Where applicable, uses a high level of knowledge to design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
7. Assists in documenting the company's existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; makes recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
8. Reviews new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.
9. Confers with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for moderately complex systems and infrastructure development.
10. Models business and systems processes based on findings through use of case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
11. Assists in developing and executing test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Reports on findings and makes recommendations for improvement.
12. Contributes to the development and management of a systems/solutions capacity plan.
13. Develops, documents, communicates, and enforces a policy for standardizing systems and software as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Six years of Enterprise Solutions Architect experience.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information management, or other technical field. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Four years of equivalent technical experience.
- and -
Experience in developing strategic systems and Solutions Architecture plans.
- and -
Experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
- and -
Experience in systems, hardware, and network design and development.
- and -
Demonstrated strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
