The Senior RF Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing RF hardware circuits and systems from initial concept through production. This candidate must have strong technical skills and knowledge, work effectively with limited information, share technical expertise with others and be creative problem solvers and effective communicators. We are looking for passionate and capable candidates to join our fast-paced and motivated team. Job Requirements
- BSEE/MSEE preferred or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience with RF radio Hardware Design and/or RF component evaluation
- Hands on experience with RF circuits and hardware on the lab bench.
- Proven verification skills in problem-solving and debugging, especially in wireless technology.
- Good understanding in wireless communications standards, wireless technology
- Experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, phase noise analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Knowledge of PCB schematic capturing and layout tools. - Allegro OrCAD
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, proven track record of working in a dynamic multi-functional team.
Desirable Skills
- Good understanding of wireless communication theory, RF transceiver architecture, receiver, transmitter, PA, PLL design and test considerations
- Experience with RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, Matlab) (preferred, not required).
- Bench Automation experience and proficiency with measurement automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python.
