Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Engineer - JPMRC-IS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing expert level troubleshooting and assessments to analyze component level issues.
  • Applying technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
  • Documenting and maintaining electrical drawings.
  • Designing power distribution systems for US Army equipment.
  • Making accurate, timely and complete entries into the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Developing technical reports, plans, procedures, etc. for qualification testing and evaluations to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Working with Information System Technology and Computer Systems Technology sections to ensure JPMRC-IS is fully operational and available for scheduled support missions.
  • May be required to support other ATMP task orders as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • B. S./B. A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
  • 4 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within the last 6 years.
  • Experience with hardware design and documentation.
  • Proficiency with electronic systems schematic interpretation.
  • Knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging.
  • Prior experience with JPMRC-IS preferred.
  • Familiar with EDX signal Pro software for use in forecasting radio frequency coverage in remote areas.
  • Proficiency with the 'P25' Land Mobile Radio Communication System, specifically Harris 'MSTRV system'.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.
  • Able to obtain/maintain a valid driver s license and Post driving privileges.
  • Must have a current US Passport
  • Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Must possess a Secret Security Clearance

Desired Physical Abilities: Able to work long hours on a 7-day a week schedule including days or shifts. Must be able to sustain long working periods up to 1 month without days off. Must be able work in extreme weather conditions throughout the USARPAC Area of Operation (AOR) (heat, cold, wind, rain).

Salary Range:
$81,500.00 - $161,400.00
