Senior Electrical Design Engineer

This role offers a hybrid schedule and a pathway to principal level within a few years!

As a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing suitable
product designs to meet project specifications for high reliability and safety in industrial
environments.

Responsibilities:
*Play a key role in all phases of product development including requirements definition,
complex circuit design for embedded systems.
* Develop verification plans, perform verification of new and existing products, and
document results.
* Identify new components to support obsolescence and other PLM activities for existing
products.
* Responsible to develop and enhance existing and next generation industrial control
products and communication devices.
* Using electronic hardware design tools such as schematic capture, PCB design, timing
analysis, and signal integrity.
* Creating UL/CE/ATEX/IEC compliant designs (isolation/spacing) while
preventing/eliminating EMC/EMI and thermal issues.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in PCB design.
* Must have experience in both analog and digital circuit design.
* Experience with PCB design tools such as schematic capture, board layout, timing
analysis and signal integrity.
* Experience with UL/CE/ATEX/IEC design compliance.
* Experience with EMC/EMI prevention/elimination.
* Experience with thermal sensitive designs.
* Solder/re-work skills.
* Understanding of embedded software development is a plus.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Strong multitasking skills.
* Ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
