Senior Electrical Design Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer works in the Research and Development of instrumentation including architectural definition, circuit design, and PCB layout. Sr Electrical Design Engineer

The Sr Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of instrumentation and measurement products consisting of:

• Digital circuit design utilizing microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and programable logic.
• Design of interface electronics for motion control, sensors, optical detectors, illumination, and data communications, including USB and Ethernet
• Performing component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout
• Executing quick turn prototyping, PCB bring-up, debugging, verification testing, and performance characterization of new designs
• Making recommendations and research on advanced technologies for product development
• Working with a collaborative multi-disciplined engineering team in the design and test of electro-mechanical and electro-optical instrumentation

Position Requirements

• B.S.E.E. or higher education
• Minimum of at least 7 years experience in design and test of complex systems and circuits
