The Role:
Our site in Bloomington, Minnesota is seeking a new Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist. If hired into this role, you will play a key part in developing, implementing, and executing EHS programs and procedures. You will also continuously assess EHS performance against Entegris's global policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices through audits and inspection.
What You'll Do:

• Ensure compliance with employee occupational health and safety and environmental laws, rules and regulations, applicable company policies and procedures
• Lead the implementation and management of site-wide EHS programs such as corporate EHS Programs, training, incident investigation, auditing and performance evaluation for the site. Drive a culture of EHS excellence and secures engagement and buy-in among site employees and leadership
• Assist in developing and delivering EHS trainings related to compliance including New Hire Orientation.
• Take proactive action to implement immediate and effective corrective actions to eliminate safety hazards.
• Support the design review of new projects and modifications to existing processes and facilities to identify and resolve EHS issues, and incorporate lessons learned from prior projects or alerts shared. Lead efforts to secure all required environmental permits, licenses and authorizations associated with projects and modifications
• Prepare EHS metrics reports that track the facility's EHS performance. Use metrics to apply Data Driven Problem Solving for the site and the EHS Programs
• Collaborate across departments, leading teams to promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental consciousness throughout the organization.
• Understand and appropriately influence company strategy as related to Environmental Health, Safety and Security compliance and program implementation at the site operational level

• Maintain EHS Budget for the site and create Purchase Orders
• Perform various ISO Audit requirements to maintain ISO Certification for 14001 & 45001

What We Seek:

• Bachelor of Science degree in occupational safety, occupational health, engineering, environmental science or other EHS-related technical discipline from an accredited college/university
• 5-7 years of EHS program development, implementation, and leadership experience, ideally with a focus on cleanroom manufacturing
• Experience working with OSHA, US EPA and state-level compliance programs and regulations, and conducting audits
• Knowledge of Federal and State Safety laws, regulations, codes and best management practices
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships quickly and effectively at all levels throughout the company
• Experience conducting ergonomic risk assessments, and leading a team to develop and implement ergonomic improvements
• Knowledge of hazardous materials management and environmental regulations
• Skills and experience in employee development and training
• Ability to work with people in a culturally diverse environment
• Demonstrated effective communication with Executive Management, Front Line Supervision as well as other employees
• High level of initiative, teamwork, and ownership
• Ability to use a computer, email, video conference tools and office software
