AddressPOSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for preparing for certification as an ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Supervisor/Educator while participating in the ministry and activity of the Spiritual Care Department. Responsible for assisting ACPE Educator with program accreditation. Responsible for providing professional, interfaith spiritual care in assigned areas and supporting the work of the Spiritual Care Department through participation in on-call coverage, leadership of religious services, departmental processes and/or institutional committees as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master of Divinity degree, or equivalent. Ecclesiastical endorsement and/or good standing for chaplaincy. Two years hospital training experience. Four or more units of ACPE certified CPE. Certified by APC, NACC or similar cognate group. Strong communication and human relations skills including conflict and crisis management, small and large group leadership skills.
