ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops flat pattern lay-outs from customer blueprints utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD Lt
- Formulate a delivery date to customer and schedule work dates for engineering of the particular parts and orders
- Ensures all flat pattern lay-outs show the necessary geometry for programming and production of items ordered
- Generate a Bill of Material showing the quantity ordered, material type, program number, and the part identification for the Production and Purchasing staff
- Work with Production to solve issues affecting quality of parts produced
- Identify, improve, recommend, and implement measures to improve production and process methods

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Sheet metal fabricating/manufacturing processes experience required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency with SolidWorks & AutoCAD Lt
- Detail oriented with multitasking and organizational skills
- Problem solving and analytical capabilities
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Must have a strong understanding of geometry and trigonometry
REASONING ABILITY:
- Must be able to compile all pertinent data to come to a conclusion regarding specific job requirements
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and co-workers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
