We are looking for a Discovery Counsel with great judgment and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to drive complex discovery strategy and lead programmatic solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has significant experience in discovery management, litigation and operational execution. This role requires a lawyer with highly efficient operational skills, risk management experience and the ability to strategically manage discovery end to end.

As a member of Apple's discovery team, you will personally be formulating and driving discovery strategy, both from a legal risk perspective and an operational one. You'll be working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment and a operational-focused approach. Travel is possible. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.
Education & Experience
JD or equivalent and admission to at least US state bar.

Key Qualifications
- 8+ years of in-house, law firm or vendor discovery experience, including significant experience leading complex discovery management in litigations and investigations.
- Strong technology interest and aptitude.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have meaningful in-house or equivalent experience and experience managing discovery in litigation and regulatory investigations in a corporate setting.
- Excellent operational, communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential.
