Job Description:
The Senior Director Human Resource Business Partner is the primary strategic thought partner of a portfolio of executive leaders who lead a Intermountain Health's South Market, Surgical Services service line, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC's).
This position is primarily on-site at either American Fork or Spanish Fork Hospital and may include travel to other facilities within the Utah South Market, which spans from Utah Country to Fillmore.
They lead a team of Human Resource Business Partner Directors who collaborate and partner with multiple business and clinical executives. The Senior Director will act as the trusted advisor that will develop cost-effective, value added HR processes and systems and use Intermountain's Operating Model (Continuous Improvement) to create and implement data-informed solutions.
This leader is a champion for a highly engaged culture of inclusion and belonging while positioning Intermountain Health as an employer of choice. They are a trusted advisor, Business Partner and leader of their team in developing and implementing strategies to enhance engagement, retention and productivity of staff, leaders and providers. They will partner in designing and implementing long and short-term workforce planning solutions. They will provide strategic guidance on succession planning, leadership development, and organizational design effectiveness. Coordination and collaboration with other HR Centers of Expertise (CoE's) to achieve system and HR initiatives, KPI's and goals are also key to this leader's success.
Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant business experience working with senior leadership at a strategic level
  • Ability to lead large projects that have enterprise or region impact
  • Lead and inspire a team of HR professionals to achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach executive leaders, and strong facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and perform with a high degree of autonomy, organization, and adaptability
  • Demonstrated success in internal consulting or similar trusted advisor role
  • Leverage relationships and expertise across the HR Centers of Expertise

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
  • Demonstrated focus on understanding the needs of the organization and supporting organization leaders with a customer focused, internal consultancy, service orientation.
  • Senior HR Certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement principles.

Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate, as well as, hear and understand spoken information.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$65.10 - $100.50
