- Department: Executive Office Nursing and Operations Infrastructure
- Schedule: Full-Time, 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday, Partially Remote with 30% travel.
- Facility: Ascension
- Provides leadership, direction and strategic planning in collaboration with CMOs, business leaders, medical staff, managed care, legal, compliance, and risk to assure governance and structures related to CVO Services, are fulfilled across all ministries in the region.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all policies, procedures, and processes that demonstrate compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and accreditation bodies. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with accreditation bodies’ criteria and identify any areas for corrective action.
- Establish a comprehensive performance measurement system, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with the criteria of NCQA, The Joint Commission, and URAC. Establish a credentialing plan that meets regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintains NCQA accreditation to support auditing and delegation by payors.
- Leads audit process performed by payors who have engaged in delegated credentialing contracts.
- Leads strategy and team to secure standardized delegated contracts.
Leadership & Operations
- Provides expertise in the areas of regulatory compliance and governance, URAC, NCQA and Joint Commission accreditations.
- Sets strategy, goals and KPIs for the department.
- Responsible for hiring, staffing, evaluating and performance management of the department.
- Partners with key stakeholders on strategy and operations.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals. Effective at leading remote teams.
- Can demonstrate audit experience.
- Can demonstrate ability to work in a large organization.
- Personal relationships with payors and accreditation bodies

Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
- 7 years of work experience, preferred.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience, preferred.
- 10 years of CVO Governance experience, preferred.
- Strong data analytics skill set, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, preferred.
- Must be creative, agile, innovative, strategic, ability to organize and delegate, problem-solver, team player, flexible, have a understanding of technical demands and have a growth mindset.
