Summary
Our ideal candidate is a sophisticated consultant who brings strategic thinking, business acumen, digital/marketing expertise, and strong oral presentation and writing skills. Working with a creative and dynamic cross-functional team, you’ll be part of developing creative, high-impact business strategy and marketing outputs for enterprise clients.
- We need this candidate to either have worked for an agency (or consulting company) or be a self-employed solopreneur/freelancer for 5+ years
- If they also bring a content strategist skillset - it's a huge plus, but not a direct requirement
Location
- This position is fully remote but requires up to 25% travel.
- Ability to work Eastern time zone hours.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in marketing/digital marketing/account management working directly with clients at the management level and above
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations, workshops, and written deliverables
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with an eye for identifying opportunities and possibilities
- Account Management / Project Management experience desired
- Ability to learn quickly, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, and synthesize those findings into new ways of thinking about problems and solutions
- Flexibility to manage ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities
- Willingness to be a utility player on the team, jumping in to contribute to branding, writing, and tactical execution across platforms
- Strong foundational understanding of digital solutions, branding, campaign execution, lead generation, and omnichannel marketing
- Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver workshops and meeting presentations to clients (c-suite and execs).
- Perform strategic assessment and gap analysis on client marketing materials and tactics and quantitative/qualitative research outputs, providing innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements to meet strategic business objectives.
- Work with the Account Manager and Solution Director to develop strategies and solutions for client needs, anticipating and solving potential obstacles and spotting opportunities.
- Provide client strategies in a variety of areas, including customer experience, digital marketing, and lead generation.
- Leverage data and analytics to gain actionable insights into customer behavior, preferences, and pain points and identify opportunities to improve conversions and enhance marketing performance.
- Support the business development process by discussing with prospects, outlining the delivery approach, estimating projects, and presenting proposals.
- Direct large-scale projects such as marketing/digital marketing campaigns, CX strategy projects, and of designers, copywriters, marketing specialists, and developers.
- Contribute to content creation, brand conception, experience design, and digital marketing initiatives as needed.
- Review tactical outputs including content, design, and execution for consistency and excellence – working collaboratively and delivering constructive feedback in a timely manner.
- Travel to on-site client locations within the US and contribute to meetings and client relationship development.
