Senior Database Developer / Administrator

Venesco LLC is looking for a Senior Database Developer / Administrator with experience in a SQL environment to design and implement databases in accordance to end user information needs and views.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in an Information Technology field of study with 12 years of relevant work experience, including SQL architecture development and maintenance along with API/database application front-end knowledge; or no degree with demonstrated work experience of at least 15 years with SQL architecture development and maintenance along with API/database application front-end knowledge and experience.
• Minimum 12-15 years working within SQL environments (based on education requirements above)
• Minimum 10 years designing and managing APIs
• Minimum 5 years working with the Anaconda suite (with focus on Python, Petl, & Pandas applications),
• Developer-level capability (minimum 5 years developing applications) in SharePoint
• Working knowledge of Mongo, Postgre SQL or other non-relational database environments.

Job Description:

• Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users information needs and views.
• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
