WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for a Senior Data Strategist to join Braze's Go-To-Market Operations team. Data is the crux of every process and business decision that is made at Braze. As a Data Strategist, you will own our entire Go-To-Market data strategy, which includes having a thorough understanding of our current data infrastructure to build scalable processes for our rapidly growing global business. You will help ensure that our CRM environment contains accurate, complete, and up-to-date Sales data across several external data sources. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to identify gaps in our current data strategy, and translate these business needs into technical solutions to implement.
- Translate business requirements into data strategy, and execute process changes to deliver impactful outcomes
- Align with other go-to-market teams to gain a thorough understanding of Braze's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP); facilitate strategy to best capture qualities and signals of ICP through various data sources
- Make recommendations on our optimal Sales data tech stack; create and execute project plan to better leverage new and existing data sources
- Leverage vendor tools and technical solutions (such as SQL or Python) to automate data quality controls for Sales data (i.e. Accounts, Leads/Contacts) in CRM environment
- Create and implement scalable processes to proactively identify and action on data quality issues
- Develop KPI metrics to measure the impact of data improvements; deliver key metrics, reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to provide actionable insights
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strategic thinker with 3-5 years of experience in a data function, preferably within SaaS and/or Operations
- Passionate about data and driving strategy that will impact our entire go-to-market organization
- Able to translate the technical details of data to non-technical stakeholders
- You enjoy collaborating with others and solving problems
- Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Detail- and results-oriented
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience with SQL or Python recommended
