Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a clear vision and strategy to employ supply chain analytics to improve customer experience, costs, and inventory productivity
• Provide technical expertise in algorithm selection and optimization in the supply chain domain
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning Fortune Brands Innovations, customers, and suppliers to identify and develop analytics-based solutions for a wide range of opportunities
• Apply creative thinking to large, complex data sets to create value for Fortune Brands Innovations and its customers. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes gathering data, gaining insights, developing solutions, and presenting recommendations to senior leaders
• Build positive and productive relationships with Supply Chain, Business Units, customers, suppliers, and other functions within Fortune Brands Innovations to create and leverage advanced analytics
• Provide advanced analytics teaching and coaching for Supply Chain associates to significantly increase organizational expertise
• Develop relationships via analytics industry associations (e.g., INFORMS) and lead external benchmarking of best practice

**This role is fully remote and work anywhere in the United States**
Salary Range: $145,000-$180,000
Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Decision Sciences or a quantitative field of study (including Business) is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience applying advanced analytics
• Experience in demand planning/forecasting in a large manufacturing/supply chain environment is required
• Hands-on experience performing data mining, manipulating large-scale data, and visualizing data (e.g., Tableau) is required
• Hands-on experience with Python required (SAS is a plus)
• Hands-on experience applying machine learning and predictive analytics is strongly preferred
• Supply chain and/or operations experience is required
• Proven track record of conceiving, leading, and delivering value from advanced analytics initiatives
• Skillful in collaborating and communicating with people of various technical and business backgrounds, including the ability to explain difficult technical concepts in simple terms to business users
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
