Senior Data Operations Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Data Operations Specialist to join our team in supporting theDefense Health Agency (DHA).

Your day-to-day work will include:

Providing data analytics and performance measurement support to DHHQ leadership, including reporting on status of funds, reevaluating payroll processes and providing recommendations for improvement, and providing reports to leadership as required. Tasks will include:

• Using knowledge of data analytics to build reports and presentations for senior leadership, including status of funds analysis and resource management and analysis.
• Reevaluate existing payroll business processes as needed and provide recommendations for improvement.

At a minimum you should have:

• An ACTIVE Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s or MA/MS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 3-10 years of relevant experience OR 12 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proficiency in financial data management, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills (i.e. organization, prioritization, problem-solving, stakeholder communication)

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Experience supporting DoD stakeholders, DoD/Army Financial Management regulations and systems, including GFEBS, Civilian Pay, Status of Funds reporting, and DoD Appropriations
• Proficient in R/Python/Tableau
