We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience in ETL, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI datasets to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and systems that enable our internal stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain data models and schemas in Snowflake.
- Build Power BI datasets and reports to provide data analysis and visualization capabilities to internal customers.
- Design and build data pipelines and systems that process and transform large volumes of data efficiently.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines and systems for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and testing procedures.
- Continuously learn and keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.
- Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and privacy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6 years of experience in ETL, Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, and Power BI datasets
- Strong experience with SQL and data modeling
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
