Senior Data Engineer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client's system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
*Data collection and integration, gather and prepare data for ML and NLP models
*Data pipeline development, build and maintain ETL pipelines for data processing
*Model deployment and integration, deploy ML models and integrate them into applications.
*Data quality assurance, ensure data quality, validate accuracy, and monitor for drift
*Security and compliance, implement data security and privacy measure, ensuring compliance.
*Collaboration and documentation, communicate effectively with teams, document processes, and collaborate on problem-solving.
*Design and maintain data warehousing infrastructure, including data storage, data processing, and data retrieval.
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
*5+ years of Data Engineering experience (Text based ML/NLP experience preferred)
*5+ year of Python experience for data processing and scripting, including Flask
*Experience designing and implementing ETL processes
*Experience with development using AWS and Elasticsearch
*Strong understanding of database management and data lakes
*Analytics mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
*Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
