- Oversee the implementation of Cyber Security policies, ensuring compliance with FISMA, DOC, NOAA, NOS, and NIST Special Publications.
- Provide technical and non-technical support for the Cyber Security Program, including incident response, data call management, and security expertise.
- Monitor security incidents, reporting to the Incident Response Team and Security Operations Center.
- Manage and respond to data calls, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Offer security expertise and technical support on enterprise security tools.
- Develop and maintain Cyber Security documentation in designated repositories.
- Conduct and update Cyber Security Awareness Training sessions.
- Represent the Cyber Security Program in relevant committees and working groups.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging cyber threats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
- X+ years of experience in Cyber Security roles, with a focus on incident response, data call management, and technical support.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Tenable Security Center, ArcSight, and vulnerability scanners.
- Familiarity with IT operations tools (e.g., Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, IBM Big Fix).
- Comprehensive understanding of NIST guidance, FIPS, and relevant security standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
