Hill's is seeking an experienced Senior CRM Manager to join our cross-functional digital marketing team! You will be supporting a considerable volume of CRM marketing campaigns for our US platforms while coordinating with team members around the globe. Your focus will be to support data driven marketing strategies and CRM programs, channels, and campaigns including cross channel consumer lifecycle marketing journeys, acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation strategies, consumer data strategies and governance, creative & agency management, analytics, insights, and optimizations.


The Sr CRM Lead will develop and oversee the strategy and execution of a comprehensive CRM program for Hill's in the United States.  The role will work across the Engagement, Brand, eCommerce, B2B and DTC teams to develop an architecture for 1st party data acquisition and a data-led approach to engaging along the full journey with both the vet profession and with pet owners.  Ultimately they will provide the comprehensive and authoritative view of the customer and create corporate and customer strategy to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.  

This role will help architect solutions for complex data driven, CRM, and digital marketing campaigns using available technology, datasets and partnerships to support business KPIs and objectives. They will also help lead our organization with future forward best-in-class digital transformation solutions and opportunities for our marketing technology and data driven ecosystem.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Serves as CRM expert to the organization and larger enterprise partners
  • Develops strategies and plans for acquisition, retention, DTC, consumer lifecycle journey, and Integrated Brand Experience Plan marketing campaigns. 
  • Oversight of campaign execution, CRM content calendar, and consumer touchpoint strategies and campaigns in collaboration with internal cross functional teams and agency partners.
  • Development of 1:1 marketing channel strategies and oversight of executions including email, email journeys, SMS, direct mail, website, sweepstakes, coupons, and media and partner lead 1st Party data acquisition sources
  • Oversight and strategy for AB Test and learn plans, executions, analytics and optimizations
  • Oversight and strategy for Reporting, Analytics, and Insights 
  • Oversight of Consumer 1P Database, architecture, and technology stack
  • Strategic roadmap development for CRM ecosystem, MarTech stack tools, and CRM capabilities
  • Oversight of MarTech Tools business Product Owner for CDP, SFMC, and CRM ecosystem enablement tools. 
  • Oversight of Email channel deliverability, CanSpam Compliance, GDPR/CCPA data privacy requirements, and data driven marketing best practices

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years CRM, data driven marketing, and/or email marketing experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder, Reports, and Insights
  • Experience with relational databases, data lakes, ETL data principles, architecture, schema, etc.
  • Experience with CDPs, CRM Tools, Audience Targeting tools, etc.
  • Experience managing MarTech stacks, integrations, launches, etc
  • Experience with Agile framework and methodologies, backlog management, developing business requirements
  • Experience crafting, deploying and maintaining campaigns in CRM management platforms/marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in various types of campaigns such as promotional marketing and/or automated email marketing programs (triggers, journeys, drip campaigns).
  • Experience with creative strategy and messaging communications planning
  • Familiarity with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and CAN-SPAN regulations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; validated ability to develop and initiate creative innovations and solutions.
  • A team-oriented individual who can share information, goals, opportunities, successes, and failures with the appropriate parties. Ability to coordinate, plan, and carry out multiple related activities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and run simultaneous projects and needs
  • Strong bias for action and data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Great teammate with excellent communication skills, particularly with diverse cultures
  • Flourishes with digital innovation and evaluating trends in a changing landscape
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or AMPscript
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics/GA4
  • Hands on experience building and deploying emails in SFMC
  • Master's Degree in Marketing or Business

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $112,000.00 - $157,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
