The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.
SPA is looking for a Senior Cost Analysts to support a US Space Force customer.
Responsibilities
SPA supports multiple programs at US Space Force's Space Systems Center, including the Kobayashi Maru software factory. SPA is a force enabler to USSPACECOM for POM strategies, program substantiation, JCIDS, and requirements management. We provide highly qualified expertise to NASA's Safety and Mission Assurance operations. We also deliver high-end advisory services to the Intelligence Community's in support of strategic objectives, transformation initiatives and acquisition, technical, and business processes.

• Provide a broad range of cost estimating support for the Space Systems Command. This includes cost estimate development for a portfolio of programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle (including software cost estimating).
• Support in the preparation of program cost analysis requirements document preparation and evaluation, historical data cost analysis, market surveys, economic analyses, cost policy reviews, Total Ownership Cost analyses, and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) evaluations.
• Analysis of support contractors' cost data and cost estimates, including Engineering Change Proposals, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Basis of Estimates to ensure consistency with Government accepted cost estimating procedures.
• Support in the development and modification of program WBS and verification of compliance with current DCARC OSD/CAPE requirements.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Colroado Pay Transparency Range: 120k - 160k
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor degree in a related field such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Statistics
• 10 years of experience performing cost analysis in government acquisiton
• 3+ years of experience with Space programs

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Management, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Experience with cost models (e.g., ACEIT, USCM, SEER, Excel)
• Experience with Operations & Sustainment (O&S) cost estimating desired
