Salary $70-100k/year DOE

Responsibilities:
-Conduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending improvements
-Analyze cost variances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies
-Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to manufacturing costs.
-Provide insights into cost trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
-Assist in the Month-End and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-Prepare and input journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
-Ensure accurate and timely valuation of inventory.
-Collaborate with production and procurement teams to track and analyze inventory costs.
-Create and update an accurate in/out inventory model and meet with locations on a weekly basis to discuss trends or issues that may arise.
-Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets and forecasts.
-Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.
-Maintain and update standard cost models for products.
-Work closely with production teams to ensure standard costs are reflective of actual costs.
-Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost accounting and inventory management.
-Implement cost accounting policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
-Work alongside the Division Controller & Operations Managers to ensure business performance is meeting agreed targets and where not, define and agree corrective plans that will ensure they are met.
-Continually challenge all areas of the business to ensure functional teams are performing to the best of their ability.
-Establish and maintain effective internal controls.
-Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
-Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
-Support the integration of financial data in conjunction with future acquisitions.
-Assist in special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
-Develop a thorough understanding of the processes and functionality within IFS.
-Manage ERP software processes for projects.
