This position focuses on supporting Ravago's business channels in the U.S. and Canada.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide spectrum of commercial agreements involving suppliers, customers, third-party vendors, and service providers.
- Collaborative Partnership: Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with Ravago's commercial teams, ensuring a seamless integration of legal considerations into business strategies.
- Timely Advisory Support: Provide prompt responses to commercial teams' requests for contract reviews and general legal advice, demonstrating agility and efficiency in meeting business needs.
- Strategic Engagement: Travel to attend meetings and fulfill additional assignments as necessary, with a potential travel commitment of up to 20% and willingness to work outside regular business hours to meet the dynamic needs of Ravago's businesses.
- Hybrid Work Model: Adhere to a hybrid work schedule, consisting of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week remote.
KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Legal Credentials: Possess a Juris Doctorate degree from a U.S. ABA-accredited law school and maintain an active and good-standing license to practice law in at least one U.S. State Bar.
- Transactional Expertise: A minimum of 7 years of transactional practice, demonstrating a proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. Prior in-house experience is highly desirable.
- Organizational Proficiency: Exhibit strong organizational skills, allowing for effective collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.
- Prioritization Skills: Manage a substantial volume of concurrent and competing priorities.
- Communication Excellence: Possess excellent written, oral, and organizational skills, ensuring clarity and precision in communication with business partners.
- Technological Aptitude: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
