About the Position The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to contribute to the organization's finance and business operations. We need a self-starter with incredible attention to detail, financial acumen and aptitude for technology. In this role, you will lead various aspects of the monthly close process. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting. This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain NBA league-related schedules for annual and monthly league-related expenses, including player payroll, league-assessments and other league-related activity
• Lead all aspects of debt-related accounting, including interest expense, payment schedules, and classifications
• Own accounting for multiple accounts across the organization, including, various tax expenses, cash accounts, ownership fees, and other monthly expense accruals
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations across various accounts, including, accrued taxes, lease liabilities, and tenant receivables
• Participate in the month-end close process, perform monthly duties assigned to facilitate timely close, including reporting
• Assist Accounting Senior Manager in preparation of audit requests as needed, including preparing audit requests and year-end financials
• As needed, perform accounting research and produce documentation to support the adoption of new accounting pronouncements, policy decisions, and new business activities
• Perform special research and projects for the general ledger as needed; prepare ad-hoc reports and review/post journal entries
• Analyze current company accounting policies and procedures; make recommendations to improve processes
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years in accounting related role; CPA certification is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles/practices, internal controls, and variance analysis
• Experience with general ledger, journal entry preparation, monthly/annual close processes, creating financial statements for month-end reporting package
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• Experience with ERP accounting software (preferably NetSuite) is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills with the ability to build positive relationships with team members
• Proactive and confident in identifying problems and solutions; tenacity and attention to detail and process
• Ability to efficiently lead and prioritize multiple projects at once

Compensation

• $100,000 - 110,000 + Bonus
