- Develops new, highly efficient code that follows credit union defined standards and naming conventions. Able to work with minimal oversight on highly complex projects.
- Develops software applications that are highly functional and designed to user and/or department specifications and requirements. Able to direct the tasks of other programming resources on highly complex projects.
- Conducts research, collects data, analyzes, tests and implements project requests. Writes project specifications that detail the scope and dimensions of the project. Interprets data and reports. Works with outside vendors and credit unions or internal branches and departments to aid in research while meeting deadlines. Obtains accurate information and conducts thorough testing on every project.
- Works with other departments on project development. Attends meetings with appropriate employees or vendors to obtain necessary information and direction to proceed with the development and success of the project.
- A minimum of 4 years programming experience and comprehension of systems design and computer operations is required.
- Extensive experience with Symitar’s Episys application is preferred.
- An expert knowledge of various computer systems and software applications and fundamentals of successful testing is required.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies is highly preferred.
