Overview
TRC is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Supervisor to join our work on various MTAconstruction sites throughout New York City. We are looking for someone with MTA rail experience.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Construction Health and Safety (HS) compliance audits and/or focused HS site inspections.
• Provide direction to client personnel on HS related activities.
• Maintain daily logs of activities related to project work.
• Have excellent people skills and a strong ability to interact and communicate with clients and contractors.
• Prepare Fulcrum reports.
• Travel throughout the New York City area on a daily is expected. Night or weekend work is a possibility also.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience with construction related field safety inspections for MTA.
• Experience with general aspects of construction sites is required.
• Experience performing site specific safety audits based on NY MTA Safety procedures.
• CHST or higher (e.g., ASP or CSP) is required
• Requires a valid driver's license
• 16 hour suspended scaffold and 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety training preferred.
• Excellent skills in technical writing and report preparation.
• Energetic, self-directed and client facing.
• Ability to make decisions and perform as an independent thinker and leader.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Relocation assistance will not be provided.
• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical and motor vehicle records check.

Compensation:
In accordance with New York City law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: 100,000-140,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
