Salary: $165,000 - $185,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction PM to oversee and lead large-scale vertical construction projects in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of proven experience in construction management. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in various vertical construction disciplines including architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, geotechnical engineering, and interior design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale vertical construction projects, prioritizing safety, quality, adherence to deadlines, and budgets.
• Collaborate effectively with municipalities, utilities, and other municipal agencies to ensure project compliance and success.
• Communicate efficiently with City staff, architects, engineers, and construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Identify and resolve challenges or issues during construction, demonstrating quick decision-making skills and adaptability.
• Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to construction.
• Utilize budgeting, cost control measures, and financial management techniques to keep projects within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare accurate construction cost estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or integrity.
• Develop detailed RFP bid packages for the local government public bid process, specifying all tasks, deliverables, and milestones expected from contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• CCM certification preferred.
• Proficiency in various vertical construction disciplines.
• Experience working with municipalities, utilities, and other municipal agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful track record of managing large-scale vertical projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making skills.
• Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
• Ability to prepare accurate construction cost estimates.
• Capacity to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Experience preparing detailed RFP bid packages for public bid processes.
