SalaryTiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the greater Colorado Springs Area on their search for a Senior Construction Estimator focused on Federal, Military, Government, and Commercial Construction projects ranging in value up to $100 M.
Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator - Federal, Military, Government, Commercial Construction (8+ years experience)
Project Types: Federal, Military, Government, Commercial Construction Projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Coordinate subcontract solicitations and job walks
- Determine labor and construction equipment costs
- Prepare conceptual estimates
- Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
- Submit requisitions for purchase of materials
- Compare competitive trade bids
- Assist in the training of younger staff
Skills & Qualifications:
- BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- 8+ years Estimating projects for reputable General Contractors/Subcontractors.
- Federal, Military, Government, Commercial Construction Project Experience
