Senior Construction Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the planning, contracting, construction, commissioning, and start-up of cutting-edge processing systems in both new (greenfield) and existing facilities.
• Collaborate closely with the process engineering team to implement optimal technology solutions tailored to each project's unique requirements.
• Provide valuable expertise and constructive feedback to support fellow team members, including project managers, permitting specialists, and procurement professionals.
• Foster a collaborative environment by seamlessly integrating and adjusting schedules to meet overall project and company timelines.
• Take charge of schedule and budget tracking, management, and communication to ensure projects stay on course.
• Effectively manage EPCs and Contractors throughout the entire process, regardless of contract type, ensuring cohesive and successful project delivery.
• Engage with municipalities and public utilities to understand and communicate permitting requirements and timelines effectively.

To be a successful candidate please have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial processes, with a focus on planning, contracting, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Proven track record of successfully leading technical capital projects ranging from $20MM to $80MM.
• Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, and excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
