What you should know about the Senior Compliance Analyst - Financial Intelligence role: In this role, you will participate in conducting enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high risk clientele during the account opening process for new clients. Works with complex new accounts.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include: - Reviews more complex clients such as Hedge/Private Equity Funds, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), etc.- Carries out the requirements for compliance as directed by Federal and State regulators.- Reviews account opening documentation for adequacy and completeness and work with business personnel to obtain missing information or documentation.- Provides training to junior team members.- Acts as liaison between the sales teams and Team Leader.- May act as back up to Team Leader during high volume, vacations, etc.- Assists in keeping Compliance program and procedures up to date.- Conducts enhanced due diligence research on walk-in clients and clients considered for short float privileges. To be successful, your background should match these qualifications: - Minimum 3 years compliance in financial institution- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required- Knowledge of Money laundering patterns, BSA, PATRIOT Act, OFAC (preferred) etc. - Knowledge of Actimize preferred Compensation: Flagstar Bank, N.A.

offers a base salary in this position with an hourly range of $40.00 - $51.50 dependent on qualifications and experience.
