Job Description: As a Senior CNC Machinist at Ultium Cells, you will play a pivotal role in our advanced manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will encompass designing, programming, and producing various parts, as well as mentoring and guiding less experienced team members. Collaborate with engineers to translate their ideas into machinable designs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all tasks are performed safely and responsibly.
• Program, operate, and maintain a variety of CNC and manual machines, producing parts meeting or exceeding specified tolerances.
• Successfully read and interpret drawings, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Comply with quality policies, specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Competencies: Required:

• High school diploma/GED/Technical schooling.
• 4 years of experience in the following:
• MasterCam software to program CNC lathes (Y-axis programming preferred).
• MasterCam software to program CNC mills (5-axis programming preferred).
• SolidWorks software for designing parts and assemblies.
• Operating CNC lathes with Y-axis.
• Operating 5-axis CNC Vertical milling machines.
