We are currently seeking a Senior CMS Certification Business Analyst to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).
The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing Business Operations Support (BOS) for a state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of the team manager, they will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables. In collaboration with other NTT DATA consultants, the selected candidate will work directly with state business staff and vendors to support the analysis, planning, design, UAT, implementation and evaluation of key system changes, projects, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as expert in current CMS Certification requirements and processes for implementation, system change projects
• Assist expert in CMS operational reporting
• Coordinate system certification efforts including Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR) with stakeholders
• Facilitate visioning sessions and assist in developing measurable outcomes and metrics
• Monitor outcomes, metrics and overall systems for certification readiness
• Provide communication and support for security assessment
• Provide project governance guidance and administrative support
• Review certification related processes and artifacts
• Monitor and confirm alignment of work plans and schedules
• Lead or participate in developing plans, meeting facilitation, and review or drafting of communication
• Review project artifacts/deliverables throughout the system development life cycle for quality, compliance, and completeness, document observations and findings using project team processes and standards
• Interface with state business users and vendors
• Identify and report project issues and risks
• Research and provide recommendations to the client on business problems/decisions
• Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance
• Ensure project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed
• Develop and present formal presentations to business leaders, vendors, and team members, making applicable recommendations
• Participate and/or lead in the creation of presentations and other materials for end user training
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of experience supporting or developing private or public Health Care systems
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting large, complex Medicaid system implementation projects and/or Medicaid business operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Center for Medicaid Services System Certifications
• Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Federal Public Health system certifications
• Experience with Streamlined Modular Certification (SMC)
• Experience with recent version of the CMS the Operational Report Workbook
• Knowledge of or experience with Advance Planning Documents
• Project Management certificate or certification
• Experience translating Federal and State regulations into working requirements that are actionable by technical teams
• Experience working with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
• Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,920 – 120,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
