Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to provide technical security leadership, internal consulting, and promote our Security program. This position will be a key technical and hands-on contributor. This highly impactful role will participate in all cloud development initiatives throughout Anywhere, seek out potential risk and ensure development aligns with company policies and standards!
You will focus on cloud technologies, application, and system development, securing API implementations and security foundations. You will serve as a partner to development teams, providing guidance on secure coding, architecture and can use previous technical experience to provide oversight. Join us!
Responsibilities
  • Provide security expertise and direction on projects using cloud architecture through secure design, implementation, maintenance, governance, and risk management.
  • Work with existing engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure security controls are successfully integrated into cloud templates and instances.
  • Work with governance teams to implement automated processes and standard methodologies for Cloud IAM policies, roles, identity federation, etc.
  • Collaborate with business units and corporate partners to ensure the solutions consistent with the organization's policies, programs, architectural recommendations, and information security standards.
  • Ensure that Anywhere applications and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards thus maintaining and enhancing client and customer trust.
  • Drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, expertise, project management and security risk mitigation of cloud and API implementations.
  • Conducts Cloud security audits against Anywhere standards and industry knowledge to reduce overall risk to the environment.
  • Educate management of the risk implications associated with business technology decisions and communicate the likelihood and impact of those decisions so management can fully quantify those risks and determine tolerance levels.

Qualifications/Selection Criteria
  • 5-7 years of experience within information security and information technology
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in system administration, cloud computing management, API security implementations, and developing cyber security cloud strategy.
  • Required industry security certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISA)
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies - AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure Preferred
  • Good understanding of security management solutions including IDS, IPS, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Denial of Service and Continued Compliance
  • Strong collaborator, resourceful, adaptable with strong follow through.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Information Technology or related subject area.
  • Have a solid understanding of cloud information flows, process architecture and security posture.
  • Expertise evaluating Cloud Security and identifying risks.
  • Previous experience working directly with business and development teams to understand the requirements driving the need for a cloud solution to be delivered.
  • Experienced in Information Security programs including, but not limited to, Audit Reviews, Risk Assessments, Data Protection, Secure SDLC, Secure Configurations, Vulnerability Management.
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively communicate information security projects in business terms to various levels within the organization.

Compensation Range:
The base salary for this position is $130,000 to $165,000.
