KBX Technology Solutions, LLC, a provider of transportation technology to industry leaders, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-native data solutions that leverage the latest technologies and best practices. Your expertise in cloud platforms and analytics will contribute to building scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that handle data processing, storage, and analysis.

Our Team

This role will be part of our Platform Implementation team. The Platform is the core foundation that all of products are built. The implementation team's primary responsibilities are to deploy, monitor, operate, and implement core infrastructure technology to enable our organization to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

What You Will Do

  • Design and architect cloud-native solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for cloud-native systems.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health, performance, and availability of cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deploy cloud-based data analytics and visualization solutions using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and DevOps practices.
  • Keep up to date with emerging cloud native technologies, data privacy regulations, and apply them to enhance system performance and efficiency.
  • Communicating and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer in cloud-native environments
  • Experience deploying and managing large scale cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in implementing and managing containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform, or CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Experience scripting or programming in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience communicating and working cross functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with GitOps deployment methods, ArgoCD
  • Experience working in an AWS Cloud environment
  • Experience using Datadog or Grafana for monitoring and alerting and creating visualizations of collected data
  • Experience building and supporting Automation efforts, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • AWS related certification

For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
