To fortify our development and operations infrastructure, our DevOps team is in search of a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer. As a Senior Engineer, DevOps, you'll join a global team within our ever-growing software organization, collaborating with stakeholders across the US, India, Scotland, Denmark, and China.

 

Your role will be instrumental in enhancing our deployment and release processes, as we embark on an exciting journey towards cloud-based products and infrastructure.   • Collaboration is the name of the game! As our DevOps Superstar, you'll team up with development squads to identify and obliterate bottlenecks in the software deployment and release lifecycle. Think of yourself as the superhero with guidance and automation powers, helping our teams take their products to the market in lightning speed!
  • Channel your inner liaison! You'll be the ultimate contact point for a variety of product development teams, providing them with the tools, infrastructure, and automation mojo they need to conquer the market!
  • Our mission is availability, security, and unwavering support! As the guardian of Shure's deployment and release environments, you'll ensure they're rock-solid and ready to conquer the world. Your watchful eye and expertise will keep everything in perfect harmony!
  • It's time to create extraordinary pipelines! You'll weave your magic and create infrastructure as code (IaaC), crafting reusable frameworks and modules within AWS. Get ready to scale new heights and manage high-availability web and microservices applications like a true wizard!
  • Data and insights are your secret weapons! Join forces with our team to develop monitoring and reporting dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana, empowering us with real-time visibility and intelligence.
  • Standards and repeatable processes are the keys to our success! Let's collaborate on creating them, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and practices. Together, we'll shape the future of change management!
  • Last but not least, document the tale of our deployment and release environments! Share your knowledge and contribute to the epic saga of our technological journey.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a software industry with active roles in software development, configuration management, and system administration, ideally in an international work environment.
  • Experience in an Agile way of working.  SAFe experience a plus.
  • Expert knowledge in:
    • DevOps Cloud deployment and release environments and technologies
    • AWS server maintenance, monitoring and configuration (IaaC, ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, S3)
    • DevOps OnPrem deployment and release environments & technologies (Jenkins, groovy, artifactory, Bitbucket)
    • Software development version control systems (Bitbucket, git, SVN, and Gerrit).  Multi-branch pipeline experience a plus.
    • Build automation and infrastructure in Jenkins.  gclient development a plus.
    • Programming experience working with various languages (python, Bash, Powershell)  Knowledge of programming languages C/C++, Angular, Android, xcode concepts a plus.
    • Experience working with various operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android).
    • Experience working with various tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, artifactory).
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • A desire to solve problems and take on challenges
  • Collaborative team spirit
