The Job at a Glance

As a Senior Clojure/ClojureScript Engineer at Centriq Technology, one of Parts Town Home divisions, you will be supporting a large and growing platform across the entire stack. You will be helping develop new features as well as working on large scale projects utilizing Clojurescript, React/re-frame, and a GraphQL API, recording with Datomic database. Are you the one who is technically strong, excel in written communication, and excited about taking ownership of large projects and full application features? We need you to apply!

A Typical Day

• Help build and scale the Centriq platform
• Improve and expand the scope of our Web UI and its supporting business logic in order to improve our customer-facing app
• Develop new features to support other use cases
• Collaborate with other engineers and UI/UX design team
• Work closely with the Chief Architect on building backend/infrastructure components in AWS to move our platform toward a serverless paradigm
• Take ownership of large projects and full application features
• Assist with the adoption of Datomic Cloud or possibly XTDB 2 in place of our existing Datomic On-Prem database
• Collaborate with our mobile team on moving common business logic into shared code artifacts for the mobile, web UI, and backend components of our platform

To Land This Opportunity

• You have 4+ years of experience building Clojurescript web UI using React, re-frame, shadow-cljs, and webpack
• You have experience with GraphQL
• You are familiar with AWS infrastructure and utilizing DevOps for deployment
• You are passionate about working and understanding the Datomic database
• You have experience troubleshooting, debugging code issues, and staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies
• You are an excellent communicator & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
