Senior Claims Analyst

Summary: The Sr. Claims Analyst administers company risk and insurance programs with specific focus on claims management, including but not limited to auto liability, auto physical damage, workers' compensation, inland marine, cargo, and general liability insurance risks.

Qualifications:
General:
- Seven to ten years of insurance claims experience required; emphasis on claims litigation.
- Excellent computer skills must work at a high level in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and follow through in providing accurate and reliable information in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Prior experience with crane company, construction, or motor carrier industry.
Required:
- At least 7 years claims investigation and analysis experience.
- Texas All Lines Adjuster License.
- Experience administering commercial claims, especially auto, motor truck cargo, general liability, and property.
Preferred:
- AIC, ARM certification.
- Prior experience dealing with claims involving customer Rolling Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (R/OCIP).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely report of claims to insurance carriers.
- Investigate and evaluate property & casualty claims including property, auto physical damage, auto liability, motor truck cargo and general liability claims.
- Maintains records of company claims, reserves, settlements, and recoveries.
- Collaborates with underwriters and TPAs.
- Participate in claims litigation management.
- Prepare for, attend, and participate in mediations and trials.
- Promotes risk related initiatives, projects, and resources.
- Monitors and maintains records of insurance policies and claims.
- Assist Risk Manager in preparation and administration of internal and external audits and reviews.
- Identify, analyze, and report on areas of potential risk.
- Recognizes and recommends ways to control or reduce risk.
- Assists Risk Manager in maintaining industry trends and regulatory matters that could impact the company.
- Build risk awareness among companies.
- Audits insurance company and TPA invoices.
- Other duties, as assigned.
