Category Leadership:

Demand Accelerator is a team that represents a transformation of Shopper Insights, Shopper Marketing, Category Leadership, and Space Engineering resources to support Sales and Marketing plans for enterprise, national, and regional customers across the PepsiCo portfolio. This approach allows us to build best-in-class capabilities, develop deep functional expertise, and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers. The Demand Accelerator will help PepsiCo provide our customers with cutting edge data and insights, as well as, personalized solutions to drive incremental growth for both our customers and PepsiCo.

As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the insights agenda for the Quaker Foods portfolio on a leading PepsiCo growth account, DG, as well as the remaining customers in Dollar/Drug, namely DT/FD/WAG/CVS.  The primary objectives of the role are to drive accelerated customer growth, drive market share gains, and elevate our customer partnership with industry leading Shopper & Customer Insights. Key accountabilities include leading the Joint Business Planning insights strategy for Quaker Foods, driving internal PepsiCo initiatives for our consumer, and identifying and executing against new whitespace terrains to drive future business growth.


Responsibilities
  • Help lead insights development and support for the development, implementation and tracking of the Joint Business Plan with Dollar General/DT/FD/WAG/CVS and the PepsiCo Annual Operating Plan
  • Ensure insights and plans drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success
  • Utilize information from multiple sources such as 1010, IRI POS, IRI Panel, Numerator and internal research to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays
  • Develop strong working relationships with Dollar General, 1010, Internal PepsiCo teams and all relevant business partners

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of broad CPG, Category Management, and Shopper Insights experience
  • Strong category management and project management skills
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data via IRI and/or Nielsen required. Will work with several data sources in the role.
  • Highly proficient MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Tableau
  • Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Customer development experience/skill leading customer engagements across multiple levels within customer
  • High degree of functional proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, IRI or Nielsen
  • Strategy experience preferred through internal/external consulting, sales strategy and or category leadership
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop compelling stories
  • Project management skills, ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
  • Soft skills to successfully influence internal and external constituents
