Position overview:
Will be a member of the 3G-TM Development team focused on the Strategy, Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of the 3G Analytical Solutions. This is a high is a high impact role working closely with Product Management, Development, Technical Services, and SaaSOps engaging through-out the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). This position will be a key role impacting:
- Core Product Analytics Solution Offerings
- Customer Specific Reports
- Internal Analytics Strategy and Reporting
- SaaSOps Deployment and Architecture
This position will help ensure 3G-TM is utilizing the Jasper solution to the highest levels to drive value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help define and drive reporting and analytics related strategies including Core Product, Custom Customer, and Internal Analytics
- Engage with Stakeholders to understand needs to drive effective solutions (Product Managers, Developers, Technical Services, Customers, and SaaSOps)
- Ensure 3G utilizes to the highest level the Jasper tooling to drive the most value to our stakeholders, including BI / Reporting Architecture.
- Work within an Agile methodology
- Support the development of a standard processes such as design paradigms, configuration, best practices, deployment process, upgrades, automation testing, etc.
- Support SaaSOps on Deployments, Upgrades, Architecture and Best Practices.
- Support Technical Services on Customer Report and Best Practices.
- Develop Views, Domains, Reports, and Dashboard Widgets.
- Ensure that reports are of the highest quality and delivered on time
- Troubleshoot performance issues, validate result sets, recommend, and implement process improvements.
SKILLS:
- 5+ Years’ experience working with Tibco / Jasper.
- Proven proficiency with Tibco / Jasper – Both Development and Administrative (i.e. Upgrades)
- Solid understanding of data analytics architectures and database sources, including relational structures, dimensional data marts/models, data lakes, etc.
- Proficient in SQL query skills (SQLServer).
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus and mindset
- Experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain a plus.
- Experience in various Business Intelligence Solutions (i.e. QuickSight. Tableau, Jasper, etc) a plus.
- Java Programming is a plus.
- AWS experience is a plus.
