This position will have two main responsibilities:
- Development of ADM business across NAM within the Pharma market segment
- Strategic accounts and sales development and management for the Pharma market segment in NAM
- Hence this position is overall responsible for supporting the global Pharma strategy and developing new strategic business opportunities for the Pharma segment within NAM. This includes market scouting and marketing, landscaping, competitive analysis, proposing strategic product and portfolio developments and driving ambitious sales of all relevant products within the ADM portfolio for Pharma including API ingredients (Probiotics/Prebiotics/Postbiotics/Vitamins/Sterols/Isoflavones/Botanicals, etc...) and Excipient ingredients (Carbohydrates, specialty oils, etc.).
Job Responsibilities:
- Under the leadership of the Pharma market segment leader and with the support of the Sales and Platform leaders, conduct a thorough analysis of the key market needs, gaps and challenges, consumer trends and competitors landscape. With the leadership of the Segment and Platform leaders, propose a regional commercial roadmap including customer segmentation, channel identification and cross-selling opportunities across the full portfolio of ADM ingredients
- Identify the regulatory landscape and product and portfolio growth opportunities for NAM, along with a regulatory and legal roadmap
- Identify the needs of the NAM Pharma market segment and in collaboration with the Segment and Platform leaders, liaise and collaborate with the technology and science product platform to develop and enhance the Pharma product offering for NAM
- Identify and support partnering opportunities to support the business and platforms developments
- Work closely with the Sales team and propose to the Segment and Platform leaders short and medium term commercial plans, to expand the customer sales pipeline in the Pharma market segments and implement on the plans
- Define the relevant application supports to meet the customer demands and execute by collaborating with their application interface and leveraging the regional ADM application structures
- Deliver the revenue and GM objectives in the region
- Align go-to-market activities in the region and coordinate with marketing and with all the relevant functions
