Form of workINNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Business Affairs Managerto join our growing team!
This is a hybrid role, x2 days week onsite. Must reside in SoCal.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position provides the unique opportunity to join the Business Affairs team at an agency with an abundant portfolio of global experience, spearheading the realization of new ideas & creativity.
As a member of the team, you will be managing all business facets of integrated commercial production across INNOCEAN's client roster, including production and talent contracting, licensing and clearances, budget administration, scoping legal issues, interpreting the SAG Commercials Contract as it relates to specific productions, influencer sourcing and management. Additionally, our Senior Business Managers work closely with IUS account teams to scope and screen work for potential legal or licensing issues.

- Robust understanding and Influencer identification, contracting, and management
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle talent contracting and estimating for commercial productions, including preparation of SAG contracts and non-union talent agreements
- Negotiate celebrity/overscale/influencer talent agreements
- Review creative for any clearances or licensing as necessary
- Handle all third-party clearances and licensing, including stock footage, movie/TV rights, music, props, etc.
- Work closely with outside counsel in resolving potential production liabilities and working through solutions
- Prepare production estimate with breakdowns and pertinent info from assigned producer
- Issue purchase orders, facilitate invoice approvals, payment and job actualization
- Create production start-up documents, including production agreements, insurance coverage, and talent mandatories. Negotiate production agreements when necessary
- Work closely with account teams to resolve any liability issues within assigned production, creating viable solutions/production frameworks
- Mentor, train, guide teammates at Associate and Manager levels
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years related experience in an ad agency or combination of commercial production, and/or influencer management
- Industry expertise and experience

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
