Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeping Lead to oversee our financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be skilled at creating and analyzing financial reports and ensuring legal requirements compliance in our financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes

Record and maintain all financial transactions in the general ledger

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure accuracy in general ledger and financial statements

Oversee accounts payable and receivable

Perform audits and reconciliations

Manage payroll processes

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies

Assist with budget preparation

Work closely with the finance team to streamline accounting processes

Provide financial insights and guidance on all company activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, FishBowl, Microsoft Great Plains, and MS Office.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle confidential information

Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
