Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Back End Engineer to join our team for our consumer prescription technology platform, CodeScripts.
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality server-side code, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly
- Debug and fix issues with APIs and backend systems
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to deliver strong customer-focused experiences
- Build and maintain backend solutions for client products in an Agile environment
- Maintain and deploy products in Google Cloud Platform
- Manage cloud hosting environment, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes
- Maintain product documentation for backend and development operations
- Support Back End Engineering team members
Qualifications
- 8+ years professional software development
- Experience and interest in writing production-quality code in GoLang (4 years) and Python (8+ years)
- Experience working in SQL and/or No-SQL DB (Postgres experience is a plus)
Experience working on Kubernetes/containers and Google Cloud environment or AWS/Azure - Vue/nuxt on the frontend (preferable)
- This role is primarily for a Backend Engineer, but the ideal candidate would have some experience or interest working full stack
