This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations.

The Senior Automation Developer focuses on all development of robotic process automation scripting with the Automation Anywhere platform, and other RPA services, of assigned processes. Works with process owners on business process standardization before beginning RPA development. Responsible for thorough testing and complete documentation of all RPA solutions. Evaluates and modifies existing RPA processes for maintenance to maintain performance. Documents, evaluates, and updates developer standards around RPA best practices. Process re-engineering and RPA implementation will involve review of enterprise-wide processes to streamline, reduce inefficiency, and improve client service. Essential job functions include:

  • Utilize robotic process automation tools to replace or augment human interactions with IT systems. 
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and assist in writing specifications.
  • Utilize exceptional expert level programming experience and capabilities enabling high level BOT Tasks and digital worker capabilities.
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members, management, and firm clients.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Maintain user confidence and project operations by keeping information confidential and keeping stakeholders informed. 
  • Learning or expanding knowledge of legal practice specific processes and procedures.
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Other duties as coordinated or assigned from time to time by Senior Director of Knowledge Management and Technology Innovation.

 

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in robotic process automation, process analysis, business process management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with the Automation Anywhere RPA platform including bot development, server maintenance, and performing upgrades.
  • Exceptional expert level programming abilities with 5+ years of experience with one of many languages such as Java, .Net, C#, C++, SQL, Python and SOAP/Rest Services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Flow, and Azure preferred. 
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience with mentoring junior level developers preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to upper management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:  

  • State of California: $111,000 - $211,000
  • State of Colorado: $102,000 - $182,000
  • Jersey City, NJ: $120,000 - $218,000
  • State of New York: $103,000 - $223,000
  • State of Washington: $107,000 - $204,000

The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
