The Senior Associate Manager for C-store Sales Planning will support our convenience national retailers and the distributor network that not only supports those same national retailers, but also the many independent chains across the nation. The position is responsible for not only driving execution of in-year plans, but also for development out-year strategy (long term capacity planning, supply vetting, Pre Pack Display (PPD) plan development, etc.).
How you will contribute
You will:
Be a liaison between the Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and Category planning, Customer Demand, and Brand teams to ensure that national strategies and tactics consider the needs of our channel/customers & vice versa (our strategies align with overall HQ strategy)
Develop and manage KPI reporting across multiple databases to arm CBTs with data they need to better manage their business
Dive into customer’s APEX plans to identify Gross Revenue and Trade gaps/opportunities then work closely with CBTs to refine their plans to help deliver against ambitious growth targets
Be CBTs SME on APEX (i.e. ensure CBTs APEX plans are aligned/accurately reflecting off-line forecasting tools)
Drive trade effectiveness via post event analysis in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
Assist in the development and execution of selling programs related to innovation, seasonal and merchandising
Be seen as the category expert internally and create compelling, actionable & measurable category plans

Requirements
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Job Specific Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of business experience in sales, marketing, or related functions
Highly developed analytical skillset a plus
Convenience channel experience a plus
Cross functional experience a plus
APEX experience a plus
Excellent written, oral and negotiation skills
Ability to juggle and deliver on multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work independently and autonomously
The anticipated base salary range for this position is$85,500 to $128,300 the exact salarydepends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may varybased on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in ahighly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance andcompany results.
