Whom We Seek and RoleOverview
The Senior Associate, Operations is on the team responsible for operations including facilities management, new employee setup, and security monitoring of our global workforce. This role is based out of our New York office and does have the flexibility for a hybrid schedule.

Role Core Accountabilities (are the critical activities and results the position is held accountable to produce)
Project Reporting and Review
Manage the project review process; provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at agreed review points to enable them to evaluate progress and agree on the change. Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure timeliness and efficiency of services and client satisfaction.
ProjectPlanning
Produce workstream or project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, appropriately organized to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organization's project management framework.
DocumentPreparation
Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
RequirementsManagement
Identify, elicit, and document project/process requirements using appropriate modeling techniques if required. Analyze requirements and validate with original users, eliminating confusion. Define the testing scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project.
StakeholderManagement
Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective project working relationships and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns. Participate in the preparation and delivery of special events.
Provide tier one A/V support for all meetings, conferences, and events in our NY office. Must be deeply knowledgeable regarding all Audio and Video equipment in the office.
Continuous Improvement
Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered. Support business development activities as appropriate and assigned.
ContractManagement
Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. Inform and monitor budget; monthly budget and activities; and financial reports for assigned engagements.
ComplexityandProblem-solving
  • Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyze data trends for use in reports to help guide decision-making.
  • Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions, and formulating plans or policies.
  • Communicates with other people without requiring supervision and provides technical guidance when required on speaking in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Applies concepts of knowledge/skill without requiring supervision; also, able to provide technical guidance when required.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (3-4 years).
  • Experience with project management of multiple projects and clients.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, including grantmaking organizations.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite/CRM.
TravelRequirements
  • Some travel may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $78,000 - $83,000 salary per year. The range listed is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
