- Support optimization of SIC licenses by monitoring/analyzing/reporting usage metrics/trends to enable learning opportunities and inform renewal decisions.
- Partner with R&D groups on select initiatives involving eResource and eContent utilization.
- Learn the art/skill of licensing negotiations/renewals and vendor relations by starting with smaller publishers/eResources.
- Mid-level professional with knowledge and application of relevant information resources and tools to current and future projects.
- Manages subscription information resources and tools and works with external vendors (with guidance from Senior team members).
- Applies technical skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to the completion of moderately complex projects within Scientific Information team.
- Manages own time to meet agreed targets and develops plans for short-term work activities on own projects.
- Educates end-users in effective ways to find and use information through consultancy (with guidance from Senior team members). Promotes and supports awareness and outreach programs with end-users to enable effective use of information resources and tools (with guidance from Senior team members).
- Supports existing systems, processes, tools, and platforms (with guidance from Senior team members) to effectively deliver value-added information to end-users. Recommends digital and technology solutions to improve information workflow/access for end-users.
- Develops and sustains strategic partnerships in PRD (with guidance from Senior team members) to meet critical business needs for external information.
- Participates and contributes as a member of a robust information consulting team but has responsibility for certain deliverables.
- May lead small teams and supervise contingent workers.
- BS/BA degree in Biology/Chemistry/Library/Information Science plus 3 years related experience or MS degree in Biology/Chemistry/Library/Information Science plus 1 year related experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external customer relationships and collaborations.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations as part of a team is a must. Experience working on virtual teams is preferred.
- Must have ability to work under general supervision and arrange workload to meet priorities and deadlines.
- Solid technical knowledge of information tools and processes, along with a basic understanding of how information is applied in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
- Fundamental knowledge and experience using collaboration tools is preferred.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $78,000.00 to $130,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
