We are hiring a Capital MarketsSenior Associate to join our NYC based team. You will be reporting into the VP of Capital Markets and working closely with the rest of the financial team, including the CFO. This role will assist in maintaining our existing capital partner relationships and assist in forging new ones. You will be heavily involved in streamlining financial reporting including simplifying data integration, conducting daily analyses, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You should be hyper-collaborative, open to challenge and have the ability to work across the organization with people in finance, engineering, credit, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the process of establishing new relationships with potential capital partners including managing deliverables throughout the fundraise
- Communicate and work cross-functionally with the Finance, Sales, Risk, and Data Engineering teams to further drive portfolio management and decision making
- Build out analytical tools to evaluate current financing strategy and future potential financing stages
- Structure, negotiate, and execute transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree a plus
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services, consulting, or operations
- 3+ years of experience in Capital Markets, treasury, or investment banking
- Advanced Excel, SQL, and financial modeling skills
- Python ability is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and analytic abilities, with a high attention to detail
- Possess advanced knowledge of Excel, and are experienced with reporting, SQL and working with disparate data sets
- Comfortable working independently, as well as with a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and consistently deliver for multiple different teams
Compensation: The role described above offers a base salary of $130,000 to $160,000. Your offer will be based on the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity. In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below.
