Job Description: A leading lighting distribution company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Assembly Operator to join our team in Northbrook, IL. As a Senior Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and production of lighting products, ensuring that all components meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Highlights:
- Pay Rate: $18.74/ Hr.
- 6:30 am – 3:00pm Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble lighting components and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain assembly equipment and tools.
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably in the lighting industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
