Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Aruba Edge Connect SD-WAN Engineer to join our IT Professional Services team on a 1-year contract.  The selected candidate will support the Lead Architect deploying Aruba Edge Connect SD-WAN solutions across 1000+ locations/sites for our enterprise client. This role is integral in ensuring that the SD-WAN infrastructure is implemented effectively, securely, and integrates well with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design and deployment of SD-WAN architecture using Aruba Edge Connect technology that meets the client's business needs and objectives
• Assist in planning, testing, and deploying SD-WAN solutions in diverse environments to ensure continuity of existing operations
• Collaborate with network architects, IT teams, and other stakeholders to assist in creating scalable, maintainable, and secure networking solutions
• Contribute to the creation of detailed implementation plans, scripts, and testing procedures to facilitate successful deployment of SD-WAN services
• Provide technical support and assistance during the deployment of complex network solutions, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Support the evaluation and selection of hardware and software components for the SD-WAN deployment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and management tools
• Help to document the SD-WAN architecture, configurations, and deployment procedures thoroughly
• Participate in training IT staff on SD-WAN technology and best practices to ensure effective management and operation of the network infrastructure
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in SD-WAN technologies and updates to Aruba Edge Connect
• Engage with vendors and service providers to support contract management and SLA enforcement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  At least 5 years of experience in networking with a focus on SD-WAN technologies, Aruba Edge Connect experience preferred
• Desirable certifications include Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or similar
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), WAN optimization, and network security principles
• Proven track record in assisting with the design and implementation of complex network solutions in large-scale enterprise settings
• Experience with cloud networking, security, and integrating SD-WAN with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is advantageous
• Skills in scripting and automation for efficient SD-WAN deployment and management are beneficial
• Strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and the capacity to provide support in high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
